| New Teamspeak, New Servers. |

 Lex has done it once again. A server box was purchased for clanX! This means that we're going to have a long week of setups, copying, and moving. We're also switching to a new, updated Teamspeak server which features newer channels like Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, and Unreal Tournament 3, two of the best new games that have come out/are coming out.
We're still in progress with the move, though Teamspeak is ready. The new IP is 64.37.120.90:8767, and the password is as per usual. If you don't know it, get in touch with Crash, Lex, JC, or just log on to the old Teamspeak and check the Lobby description. All the information you need is there. We will have to re-register you, because we can't transfer over account data so be sure to log on this new Teamspeak. We need you all to be active on it for the coming events.

Hi All,
You may have noticed a lot of changes in the website recently. One of which is the use of the News modules. Any member can create a news article and submit it to the website, If you are not a Division leader it will need to be approved by any webmaster (Crash, Lex, or Ghost). We have also revamped the downloads and web links categories. While continuing work is being done I strongly encourage members to post useful links and/or downloads in the appropriate catagory. If you think we need a category that doesn't exist please Pm either myself (Lex) or Ghost and we will set it up. All Downloads and Links will have to be checked by a webmaster so please don't waste our time by posting bad links. The last big thing that is available is our email system. Any member can have a @clanxgaming.net email address. These are provided for free and to get one please PM Lex or Ghost. The clanX website is only as good as the stuff that goes into it so we ask for EVERYONE's help in making it the best it can be. There are several improvements that we would like to do (better graphics, mp3 player, image/spray page, ranks from servers, etc) that in the past we haven't had the time to do. If you would like to help please get in touch with one of the webmasters.
Also we had this idea a while back of building clanX from just a gaming clan to a gaming community. This means we span any game our members play. In the interest of this I am open to new divisions. To create a new division you must prove that you are dedicated to making it work. In the past we have had divisions with only one person that plays and never did any work in. So if you have a favorite game that you play a lot, and have friends who play with you, and would like to be able to recruit additional members please come talk to me. All divisions have to obey the basic clanX rules and use the website, teamspeak, and xfire. Making a division work isn't easy and takes a lot of work. So please don't say you want to start something and then bail out. I will give you a chance but if you don't actually do the work you don't get to keep the title.

We have a new game being played by our clanX members called Navy Field. Tag is the leader of the division for clanX. Contact Tag, Lex, or Specter for more details. As for the game.. Navy Field is a naval combat massively multiplayer online game set during World War 2. It was made available to Western players as a free beta, and then made commercially available on February of 2006. The object of the game is to upgrade and advance a WW2 naval ship and to participate in naval battles with other players online. You start the game by configuring a naval ship to prepare it for battle. After preparing the ship, the player proceeds into the game's 'Battle Map' in which each room can hold up to 128 players divided into two teams. New players assume command of a 'Nuetral' nationality ship at the beginning of the game and have to progress by advancing in levels to access larger and more powerful vessels. The two highest level ships are the Aircraft Carriers and the Battleships. Battleships can be armed with the largest guns in the game and can hold the most powerful armor, while aircraft carriers have aircraft(obviously), that can have long-range striking weapons capabilities along with lethal accuracy depending on the skill of the player. Up to six different ships of a single nation can be purchased at a time and can be armed and equipped with multiple variations of naval guns, aircraft, fire control systems, powerplants, and armor. Credits and points are the two forms of currency used in the game. Credits are used to purchase ships and equipment, while points are used to purchase recruits and promote sailors. Battles are played in real time and players control their ship's weapons and speed while in battle. Like many massively online multiplayer games, players can form clans(known as fleets). Each fleet is unique and has the ability to create up to 5 squadrons or 30 or more people within the fleet, and they have the unique ability to participate in the Harbor Assault gameplay mode. The four nations in the game all have their weak and strong points. Their are seven types of battles in Navy field: 1.) Normal, 2.) Great Battle II, 3.) Operation Convoy, 4.) Blitzkrieg, 5.) Missions, 6.) Night Battle, and 7.) Great Battle I. Go download this free game from http://www.navyfield.com/ and try this fun online game. You won't be dissapointed.
